Delicious Cheese Fondue with ::
steamed broccoli and cauliflower

. . . I know there was more but it doesn't come to mind
Served with "Slush Punch" and ginger ale
Decadent Chocolate Fondue with ::
strawberries
pears
oranges
bananas
pretzels
homemade marshmallows
rice crispy treats
roasted pecans
homemade chocolate candy centers - think Reeces, Almond Joy, Snickers - YUM
four layer Red Velvet Cake in the shape of a heart
The majority of the dessert toppings were provided by the Beauforts. She also made us a box of chocolates that were so good!
No surprise that the kids were wild about our Valentine's celebration! The purpose of the fondue eating (and what started the tradition a few years ago) is that every time someone takes a dip in the fondue to say something complimentary about someone else, but there was so much animated conversation we barely got around to a few people!
Early in the month, the girls made envelopes and attached to each person's door for us to drop in nice notes. What a treat to open those at lunch. . . more photos to come :)
