For the unofficial start to the Yamashita Family Reunion on the 24th of July we hiked the Y, which proved to be much steeper of a hike than any of us remembered. And incredibly hot! Maddie had a first-time experience with a mountain potty trip.
Thoughts~
Sage: fun to run down the mountain with Emi
Maddie: kind of hard to hike because it was steep and harder than I thought it would be. But it was really fun.
cousin Spencer: the Y is made of snow
Marvin: nostalgic experience; I thought it would only take 15 minutes to climb but it took longer
Ike: running down (and thanks to cousin David for carrying me up part of the mountain and for helping me while I dragged him down the mountain)
