The first of December kicked off with a SNOW DAY - the first in three years!! Marvin shoveled the snow early, creating the usual pile for the kids to sled down. Neighborhood kids played in the piles and created huge snow forts near our backyard. They played all day outside! The snow lasted more than a week, and then it rained away. So devastating for the kids.

Everyone experienced a little of this, the runny nose, which escalated one week into the flu being passed around as well. I was happy to get it out of the way before the holidays, though.
