It's been so cold lately that our neighborhood pond and overflow area froze into solid sheets of ice, up to three inches thick in some parts. Then our family came along and broke them up, heaved chunks to our yard, and placed them as ice installations throughout the front. With our Christmas lights turned on, it looks really cool at night. Walking to school in the morning we dress in our warmest winter wear, but poor Dallin's hands still freeze and sting and my quads tingle with chill. We come into the house with rosy cheeks and burning fingers, and appreciate the comfort of home so much more. Yesterday our art was taken by the rain and Sage performed the snow dance for us, which dance she learned in school and is convinced of its power.

Awesome! I love the Ice Art! How clever!
p.s. my verification word was "phone." That is the first time I've gotten a real word!
